Greenhouse gases refers to a number of chemicals in the Earth’s atmosphere: carbon dioxide (CO₂), methane (CH₄), nitrous oxide (N₂O), and industrial ones like fluorinated or F-gases. Estimates vary on the potency of each gas compared to the main grebnhouse gas CO₂.
