CEO

I’ll probably ask you a lot of questions. Don’t worry, it’s curiosity, not nosiness, and it’s how I get to the bottom of what really matters to your business. I love what I do and give it everything I’ve got, but I’m always happy to have a laugh along the way.

Outside work, I enjoy long walks with my mates or on my own, and if there’s a vineyard along the way, even better.

I’d love to cook, but trust me, it’s probably better if I don’t.

Finance Director

A curious, practical thinker who enjoys making complex things easier to understand and working with people who care about meaningful change.

Communications Director

I’m an old rocker who misses his hair, at my most comfortable in jeans and a faded Aerosmith t-shirt. I’m guilty of letting perfect be the enemy of the good in every aspect of my life, whether it be in goal on the football pitch, cooking the best Sunday roast for the family, or educating ambitious businesses about the importance of the work we do every day at Carbon Happy World.

Sustainability Analyst

Glass-half-full kind of person, except when it comes to the climate emergency. I am keen to make a tangible difference and enjoy being part of projects that make me feel as though I am doing so. I’m a big fan of seeing live music, with Glastonbury Festival probably being my favourite place in the world. I love playing football, but not so much watching it (being an Everton fan). I like to travel and want to see as much of the world as I can.

I’m a country girl at heart, happiest around animals and tending to my slightly out-of-control collection of houseplants—with mixed success. I love travelling, live music and going to sporting events, although supporting Nottingham Forest has felt less like a hobby and more like a test of character recently. I’m just as happy getting far too competitive at a pub quiz with friends or settling in with something wonderfully trashy on TV. Brunch is easily my favourite meal, ideally avocado and eggs on toast, and I particularly appreciate that it makes having a drink in the middle of the day feel entirely acceptable and judgement-free.

Geo Raju

Product Developer

Curious about how things work, and about people even more. I love meeting people from other cultures. Two master’s degrees haven’t cured me of questioning everything. A proud Malayali. Off duty, you’ll find me at the gym (as a test of perseverance), cooking when the mood strikes, or lying in bed dreaming up a business idea or an escape route

Product Designer

Huge love for all cuisines, love affairs with homemade pasta. Dad of two, and balancing everything in between. Design in almost every sense of the word is where my happy place is. Holding out hope of seeing a PG+ film again soon. A little rough around the edges, though spruces up okay. Happy out in the elements with a golf club and a tested, positive attitude.

Software Developer

I like solving problems, particularly the kind that start with “there must be a better way of doing this”. Most of my time is spent building software, automating things and disappearing down technical rabbit holes that probably didn’t need to be quite as deep as they became. I’m currently doing a PhD alongside my work, so apparently one complicated problem at a time wasn’t enough. Away from a screen, I play rugby, travel when I get the chance and generally enjoy anything that gives me an excuse to learn how something works.
